The Alfa-Bank application disappeared from the App Store, the bank announced on its social networks on the morning of April 15.
“If you have the latest version, it will continue to work quickly and reliably. The only inconvenience: if you accidentally deleted the application or need to install it on another iPhone, this will temporarily fail. We’ll be back there [in the App Store]! We hope very soon,” Alfa-Bank said.
The company recommended using the Alfa-online Internet bank, which works on a computer and phone. The app is currently available on Google Play.
In April, Alfa-Bank and Sberbank came under US blocking sanctions due to the situation in Ukraine. Blocking sanctions provide for a complete freeze of assets associated with the US financial system and a ban on citizens of the country from cooperating with these credit institutions.
On April 12, Apple removed the Sberbank Online app from the App Store. Soon, the mobile application on Google Play became unavailable for downloading and updating.
