The United States is currently planning for a potential TikTok ban. The popular Chinese social media application is facing a lot of hatred due to racism and other violent global issues. The recent to ban the application was first taken by the Indian government in order to launch the digital airstrike in the neighboring country. Following this strict action, many nations all across the world are trying to take up similar steps.
The Chinese application currently faced a social boycott from China when Hong Kong kicked out of the company from their city. With nowhere to go the company is facing further problems as the United States is planning for a potential TikTok ban. Overall Bytedance, the main company behind this venture has lost billions of dollars due to this boycott which resulted in the TikTok ban.
The US should partner with India and ban the Chinese data collection and surveillance tool called TikTok.
TikTok is a Chinese pseudo-military operation used to spy on our kids and harvest their data.

US plan for TikTok ban after India
The US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, says “the U.S. is planning to ban TikTok and other Chinese social media apps from the country”. Most of the countries around the world are trying to socially boycott China in a very similar way. Whether it was the problems of having Huawei technology in the infrastructure the US government has gone all over the world and is making real progress in getting that out. They declared ZTE a danger to American national security.
TikTok, owned by Beijing-based ByteDance, has also been on the radar since last year. Washington has been concerned that the platform censors content and that its data could be accessed by Beijing.
